The Antonelli family is committed to caring for their land, they practice organic viticulture, and has always been attentive to the quality of their products. They create authentic wines of great drinkability. They lean towards gentle extraction and moderate use of wood to focus on elegance rather than blunt power in their wines.
Grechetto is the main indigenous white varietal of Umbria. When blended it is widespread in the Orvieto area, while pure in the Colli Martani whose territory is part of Montefalco.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant almost golden yellow in colour. Opens with elegance to the nose: fresh, fruity and floral with notes of citrus, peach, almond and hawthorn blossom. Taste has good structure and is pleasantly fresh.
Method
100% Grechetto grapes handpicked in the third week of September. Soft pressing, cold static clarification and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests for a period of time in stainless steel tanks, on the yeast lees and before bottling.
