Amazing apples purchased directly from farmers, fermented dry in Washington, DC with wine and native yeasts, and packaged for the modern world. Never with additives or adjuncts, ANXO Ciders taste like the apples they feature.
A blend of Bittersweets, and Bittersharps from Orchards in Windchester, Virginia and also Herefordshire, UK. Fermented spontaneously in a mix of 25hl wood casks, stainless steel, and wood barrels until completely dry, coming in at 6.9% ABV. Aromas of overripe apple and a slight bleu cheese funk, flavours of bitter tannins, overripe apple, hints of cherry and a mouthfeel with drying tannins, medium body, with a bitter finish.
