For over 10 years Toronto’s Bellwoods Brewery has established themselves as one of the country’s most iconic craft breweries. From lineups around the block in the early days at their Ossington Ave. location, to opening a second much larger brewery complete with rows upon rows of barrels for mixed fermentation and dark beer ageing. Bellwoods has won a long list of national and international awards and have collaborated with countless world-class breweries.
Bounty Hunter is a once-a-winter Imperial Stout that is conditioned on loads of toasted coconut and vanilla bean, thus offering a welcome and warming getaway within the coldest season.
With this batch, Bellwoods brewers took it up a notch by adding rich, bitter chocolate for the first time in this unbarreled edition of this ultra-smooth beer.
Imperial denotes the elevated alcohol content, often between 7.0% and 12% ABV. Can be brewed with English hops if the sub style is English Imperial Stout, or with American hops if the sub style is American Imperial Stout.
