Tasting Notes

This Chardonnay has an expressive nose with aromas of white peach, citrus fruit, and a hint of French oak.  The palate is soft and round with refreshing acidity.  This would pair well with any seafood dish; creamy seafood chowder, lobster, fish and chips.  Also delicious with roast chicken or turkey dinner with all the accompaniments.

Method

2020 was an exceptional growing season in Nova Scotia for ripening Chardonnay to make still wines.   This wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel and some fermented in oak barrels.  The result is a balanced and food friendly wine.
