Since 2006, Broadside has been crafting wines that showcase the unique soils and topography of Paso Robles. Founders’ Stephanie & Brian Terrizzi approach each wine as a blank canvas where they can capture the vine’s personality, the terroir of the vineyard and the influence of mother nature. Award-winning winemaker Adam LaZarre heads our production team. With over twenty years of winemaking experience in Paso Robles, Adam works with passionate vineyard owners and winegrowers who are committed to sustainable farming. This shows in the quality of fruit vintage and vintage, resulting in balanced, elegant wines focused on pure fruit expression.
Tasting Notes
The Wild Ferment Chardonnay highlights a beautiful vintage with generous aromatics of white pineapple, wet stones and pears. The vibrantly fresh palate hints of the same, with lemon meringue, guava, and graham cracker crumb cut with brisk acidity.
Method
Broadside Wines uses sustainable techniques, like solar power, to reduce environmental impact and uses as little chemicals and water as possible. Grapes were wild fermented in tank and left sur lees. 25% of the blend goes into oak. Biweekly lees stirring to enhance
richness and mouthfeel.
