Following technical and commercial training at the Beaune Viticultural School, Bruno started to work with his parents and brother in 1993 at the family domaine Michel Colin-Deleger.  In 2003, the mutual decision was taken to divide the family domaine into three separate entities :
Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger, Domaine Philippe Colin and Domaine Bruno Colin.  Bruno created his first vintage in 2004.

Bruno crafts wines that offer a pure and simple expression of the terroir.  With 22 appellations including eight Premiers Crus whites in Chassagne-Montrachet, Bruno seeks to reflect the unique personality of each terroir, all so close together yet all so different.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of white flesh stone fruit, citrus and white lowers. It is perfectly balanced between finesse and strength making it open and direct. The texture is strong and firm. This premier cru offers exceptional ageing potential.  The palate is full, round, fleshy and succulent with a long, mineral finish. Good tension.  Some food pairing suggestions include, lobster bisque, poultry in cream sauces, veal with mushrooms.

The “La Boudriotte” appellation is intermixed with the Morgeots appellation. It encompasses the ‘climats’ of La Boudriotte, La
Roquemaure, Champ Jeandreau, Les Chaumes, Les Fairendes and Les Petites Fairendes which also have the option of being known by their own name, by that of the La Boudriotte appellation or that of the Morgeot appellation.

This wine is 100% Chardonnay grown on the noted parcel of “Champ Jeandreau”; the soil is clay-limestone soil.  The vines were planted 1951 and 1977 and are grown according to sustainable methods. The soils are worked and tilled mechanically.  Harvest is done by hand with selective sorting in the vineyards. The wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels (between 20 and 25% new oak) and 3 to 6 months in vats.
