Chateau La Ragotiere Muscadet Vielles Vignes (750ml)
Chateau La Ragotiere has been a family run estate in the Loire Valley since its purchase by the Couillaud brothers in 1979.
The grapes for this Muscadet grow on an optimal hillside vineyard with south / south-east exposure and are farmed organically. After primary fermentation in stainless steel the wine undergoes malolatic fermentation and ages on the fine lees for 10 months.
Not to be confused with Moscato, Muscadet comes from the Melon de Bourgogne grape and is grown in the Loire Valley, drinks dry with lots of citrus, and mineral notes. A food work horse, this will work with all shellfish, white fish, chicken, parsnips, sunchokes, and turnip based foods! Why wouldn’t you want a bottle of Muscadet in the fridge?
