He established his vineyard using cuttings if older selected bud wood around Givry’s best premier cru sites on the mid to upper slopes of the hillsides. Givry is known for its refined and approachable red wines, with the best examples having the capacity to age as much as the premier crus of the Cote de Beaune. Lumpp is a vigneron making wine is a specific village; he planted and nurtured these vines himself and makes his own wine.
