Invictas is made by Sur Andino, part of the Claro Wine Group / Santa Rita, one of the biggest growers and producers of wine from Chile. They own over 200 vineyards in all the main wine grape growing regions of the country and also work with contract grape growers. They are known for producing consistent high quality and excellent value wines.
Tasting Notes
Bright red with a violet hue. Aromas of ripe red fruit, raspberry and blueberry along with notes of vanilla. the mouth-feel is powerful, tasty and balanced holding sweet and round tannins. Medium-bodied with a long, lingering finish.
Method
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Chile’s central valley. The grapes are harvested and destemmed, softly crushed and treated with sulphur dioxide and inert gases to avoid oxidation before being chilled. The juice is inoculated with selected yeasts and fermented at a controlled temperature of 26-27ºC.
