More than a century has passed with Viñas Familia Gil since they bottled their first wine. With the patience given to the land of their ancestors, they take care of their old vineyards, and grow with the incorporation of small wineries from the main wine producing regions of Spain.

United in a single brand, with a selection of wines from different origins, yet connected by the spirit of quality and tradition. Different characteristics of native grapes, joined by the same family roots from where the first vines emerged.

Tasting Notes

Purple and black in colour, it offers a nose of graphite, earth notes, spice box, black fruits, and a hint of balsamic. It opens in the glass to reveal excellent density, savory flavors, plenty of spice, and a lengthy, pure finish. It will evolve well for 2-3 years and drink well for many years after that.

18 months in new French and American oak barrels, made mostly with very old Monastrell vineyards grapes from old vines grown at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level with very low yields as with the vines of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
