Bruce Ewert moved his young family to Nova Scotia in 2004 with the intention of crafting traditional method sparkling wines in an idyllic and tranquil environment. The estate vineyards and the winery is now a certified organic winemaking facility.

Tasting Notes

The blend has 15% organic Seyval Blanc from Falmouth, determined from many blending trials, and brings acidity and citrus flavours to the blend, fully complementing the richer tropical notes from LAcadie Blanc.


This is an organic Tidal Bay that is one of the driest of the Tidal Bays on the market.   It showcases the Nova Scotia terroir and this one highlights the unique estate terroir at L’Acadie Vineyards in the Gaspereau Valley.  The LAcadie Blanc grape is well suited to the gravelly soil.  One can perceive the enhanced minerality and slight salinity from schist, sandstone, an ancient seabed, which is a signature of L’Acadie Vineyard’s wines.
