Specializing in small batch production, and brewed using only the “bear essentials” to give customers an unforgettable taste experience of seasonally-crafted, high-quality Nova Scotian beer and cider. Proud to be an artisanal brewery, bringing their love of science + beer (and wood-fired pizzas) to Digby, Annapolis Royal, and Southwest Nova Scotia – (and now Bishop’s Cellar!)

Tasting Notes

Pouring a hazy burnished copper, with off-white head. This English ale has malt driven nutty aromas of toffee, toasted bread, and dark fruits that are balanced with earthy and floral hop notes. The palate drinks light and dry with many of the same notes from the aroma. A great daily drinking beer with loads of food pairing options! Try it with fish and chips, or roasted pork.

4.9% abv

An English-style amber ale that is similar to a best bitter. A portion of English malt called Marris Otter was used to give a more flavourful and deeply rich malt profile. Goldings hops were added for the classic English earthy floral aroma.
