Le Bergerie Rose (750ml)
For Château des Karantes Bergerie Rosé, the grapes are hand harvested and pressed immediately after harvest. Before pressing, a rigorous sorting is done in the vineyard to choose only the best grapes. The entire vinification is done under nitrogen or carbonic gas protection, to minimize the potential oxidation.
This is an AOP Languedoc rose made from Grenache noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre. The Domain is located in the heart of an abundant « garrigue » nearby the Mediterranean shore. The soils are mainly limestone with some sandstone, red clay and shale. Mediterranean climate with strong sea influence. The grapes are direct pressed at low temperature and fermentated in stainless steel tank (separately by grape variety). Maturation on the lees. This rose pleasing red fruit aromas and flavours; raspberries, fresh strawberries, ripe peaches and citrus. Bright acidity is balanced by a rounded texture and suppleness mid palate.
