Lomas Larga Cabernet Franc (750ml)
Records show that wine was being made by the Diaz family and exported to Europe as far back as 1889 for the exhibition of Paris. In 1994, the soil and climate of Loma Larga was carefully studied in order to fully understand the potential of this terroir and the vines that stand there today were planted in 1999. The estate is a leader in the production of cool climate wines in Chile’s Casablanca region under the guidance of oenologist Tamara Baeremaecker who has travelled extensively making wines and has been working in Chile for twenty years now honing her craft.
This wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined. This expression of Cabernet Franc offers lots of lively ripe fruit and richness. Cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant with fresh acidity and fine grained tannins.
