From greengrocer to grape grower, Pete Luckett’s hard work, eye for detail and enthusiasm has made him successful in all of his business ventures. It was only natural that Pete plant a vineyard and open a winery on his breathtaking Gaspereau Valley property. Today, Luckett vineyards is operated by Pete’s daughter Geena Luckett. Winemaker, Mike Mainguy, produces a selection of wines and styles to suit all tastes.
Tasting Notes
A fresh and lively aromatic white wine with a slight spritz and an invigorating sparkle. Citrus and tropical fruits, with fresh herb and flower-garden notes. Off dry but balanced on the palate, great lift and effervescence from the slight spritz. Mandarin orange with notes of grapefruit. Best served well chilled, pairs nicely with sushi, cured charcuterie and salty rich cheeses.
Method
A blend of Osceola Muscat (70%) and L’Acadie (30%), fermented in stainless steel to preserve the primary fruit and aromatics of these grapes and lightly carbonated to produce a pleasant light and lively effervescence on the palate.
