Tasting Notes

Aromas of plum, raspberries, sweet baking spice and underbrush. The palate is round, silky and easy drinking with flavours of ripe fruits, dark cherries, some chocolate and warm earthy notes. This vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (48%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet franc (12%), Gamay (10%) and Pinot Noir (5%). All varieties were fermented individually in stainless steel. Following, 29% of the total was transferred to older oak barrels, mainly French with some American oak. After malo-lactic fermentation and seven months’ ageing, the wine was blended and bottled.
