Tasting Notes

R.A.S (“Rouge A Siroter”, which translates as Sipping Red) is made from young vine Carignan, Grenache Noir and Mourvedre.  The grapes grow on sandy soils facing the sea.  This is an aptly named easy drinking fresh, light and bright red that will most likely lead into another bottle.  The wine is made using some whole clusters and partial carbonic maceration, all the varietals are co-fermented in a large tank with a short 8 day maceration, 3 months resting time in tank and bottled early for freshness.
