Serge Férigoule tends to seventeen hectares in Vacqueyras, on the great Plateau des Garrigues, where red clay, limestone, and the famous galets roulés, or rounded stones, impart a terrific intensity and depth to the wines. The arid soils mean that the vines are produce low yields and the fruit is concentrated and powerful. Serge has been farming organically and biodynamically for years but has never sought certification.

Tasting Notes

70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre & Cinsault aged 6 months in large oak casks. Organic and biodynamic. Deep purple in the glass with medium intensity aromas of earth, herbs, black fruits and honey. Silky and smooth initially,then finishes with drying minerality.
