Villa Pozzi Pinot Grigio (750ml)
Growth, like the vine, knows no boundaries. The Pozzi Family is originally from Cremona in Northern Italy. Daniele Pozzi – the 4th generation family winemaker – continues to catapult the inspiring legacy and tradition of the Pozzi family wine business into the future. In particular, the family saw untapped potential in Southern Italy.
Sicily was at one time more quantity-focused than quality-focused, and while it is still producing a great deal of wine, the wines of this region have been elevated. With poor soil (actually great for grapes!), warm sunshine, little rainfall and good mountain terrains, this little island is perfect for making the good stuff.
This wine has clean and well balanced flavours with bright acidity. An incredibly popular grape made in an elegant style. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to ensure a fresh, fruity, and crisp wine. It showcases aromas of lemon, white peach, and pear. The finish lingers with notes of stone fruit and flowers. Perfect as an aperitif or with light dishes.
