St George Botanivore Gin

St. George Spirits was founded as an eau-de-vie distillery by Jorg Rupf in 1982 and in 1994, Rupf hired brewer and former nuclear scientist Lance Winters to help out. Legend has it that Lance secured the job by submitting a bottle of his homemade whiskey. The two quickly expanded their portfolio of spirits well beyond eau-de-vie and in 2004 they moved their production facility to a 65000 square foot airplane hangar on the former Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, California.

St. George Spirits has sinced embraced the spirit of experimentality releasing a number of curious products like spirits made with crab shells, seaweed, and christmas trees. These flights of fancy have informed the recipes for some of their more core products like their gins.

Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc Viognier

Established in 1978, Pine Ridge Vineyards produces classically proportioned, expressive wines that embody their history and distinct place of origin. Pine Ridge founder Gary Andrus, inspired by the illustrious wines of Bordeaux, believed in the Napa Valley’s potential to produce wines of similar stature. He planted the property’s original namesake vineyard on a steeply terraced hillside flanked by a dramatic ridgeline of pine trees in the Stags Leap District.

Gary’s pioneering efforts with this first vineyard were met with tremendous success as the Bordeaux varietals he planted thrived and produced wines of great distinction. In the following years, Pine Ridge continued to acquire exceptional vineyard sites across the region. Today, the Estate’s 200-acres span over five renowned Napa Valley appellations – Stags Leap District, Rutherford, Oakville, Carneros and Howell Mountain.

Brigaldara Amarone della Valpolicella

Owner Stefano Cesari is the intelligent, intense, innovative producer of Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore and Amarone. He once served as President of the Valpolicella Region Grower’s Association, where he dedicated his term to improving the quality of Valpolicella through low yields, improved viticultural practices, careful clone selection and modern winemaking techniques. While he farms the traditional grapes of the Valpolicella Classico D.O.C., his emphasis is on the higher-quality Corvina over Rondinella and Molinara. He produces distinctive wines of very high quality from 15 hectares of estate vineyards near the village of San Floriano in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone.

Brigaldara Recioto

The Brigaldara winery is located just outside the town of San Floriano, in the heart of the Valpolicella region, north of Verona. It is at the entrance of the Marano valley, one of the four valleys that make up Valpolicella’s classical area, the original and oldest wine production area of the region. The name Brigaldara appears for the first time in a notary deed dated 1260. In 1929, the Cesari family acquired the villa with the surrounding land. Up to 1979, Brigaldara did not make its own wine and sold most of the grapes it harvested. In the early 1990’s the family began to acquire more land for vineyards in the area and started producing their own wine.

Romate Viva La Pepa Manzanilla

Romate is a family run house that has been producing fine Sherry (Jerez) since 1781. The key factors in crafting this wine style are the white Albariza soils, the Andalusian sun and the native grapes, Palomino, Airen and Pedro Ximenes. The production process for Sherry is a long and relatively complicated one with many steps in which Romate combines traditional and modern techniques in order to create a consistent quality product.
