NS Spirit Co. - Blue Lobster Pink Lemonade
Inspired by and made for Nova Scotia’s culture of kitchen parties, storytelling, good times with friends and family, and that laidback Maritime lifestyle; founded in 2015 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia Spirit Co. focuses on producing quality, small-batch spirits at an everyday price.
Their core lineup of spirits; Fisherman’s Helper Rum, Willing to Learn Gin, and Blue Lobster Vodka were all inspired by an ad found on the door of the building that would eventually house the distillery: Commercial lobster fisherman from Ballantyne’s Cove Antigonish County is looking to hire a fisherman’s helper for the summer. Basic requirements: sober, alert, willing to learn.

Villa Sparina Barbera
The Villa Sparina vineyards and winery were founded by the Moccagatta family in the 1970’s in Monterotondo, Piedmont, the heart of the Gavi DOCG. Villa Sparina comprises 100 hectares of land, 70 of which are cultivated with local grapes for the production of Gavi and Barbera wines. The estate produces a few wines from the Cortese grape; a Gavi di Gavi and a cru bottling from Monterotondo. The terroir exalts the acid component, savory and mineral features of the grape and contributes to the ageability of these wines.

Domaine Vacheron Sancerre
The Vacherons are arguably Sancerre’s leading winemaking family. From their pioneering work in identifying and exploiting the region’s top terroirs to their leading position in biodynamic viticulture today, there are few if any artisans in Sancerre as exacting or as respected.
Great-grandfather Maurice Vacheron tended a few vines back when Sancerre was but a stop on a village road. His son, Jean, was the first of the family to specialize in producing wine, paying particular attention to the influence of terroir on Sauvignon Blanc. Jean’s sons, Denis and Jean-Louis, further solidified the Vacheron name in Sancerre. Today, Denis’ son, Jean-Laurent, and Jean-Louis’ son, Jean-Dominique, have taken the estate to a whole new level of quality, championing biodynamic viticulture and selecting singular vineyard parcels that the family has observed for generations to bottle as single-vineyard wines. Their goal is to highlight the uniqueness of each site and showcase the heights that Sancerre can reach.

Gachot-Monot Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune
Five successive generations have been at the head of this family run estate created around 1890. Situated in Corgoloin on the border of Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune, the estate is today managed by Damien and Liselotte Gachot.
The recent history of the domain is highlighted by two women who contributed to the domaine’s longevity : Marguerite Monot who ran the vineyard alone from 1950 to 1980 and her only daughter, Marie Therese, who, with the help of her husband Jean Pierre Gachot renovated, replanted and gave their name to the Domaine. After completing his wine studies and with 10 months experience in California, Damien Gachot joined his mother in the domain in 1993 working and shaping the domain to its current form. The wines of Gachot-Monot represent excellent value in Burgundian wines. This fifth-generation vigneron farms twelve hectares in the village of Corgoloin, in between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune. They first came to Kermit’s attention via the master of La Tâche himself, Aubert de Villaine and another great Burgundian producer, Bertrand Chevillon. Damien was first saluted by the Hospices de Beaune as a young talent to be watched. Kermit Lynch has been importing his wines since the 2000 vintage.

375ml J Lohr 7 Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon
Founder Jerry Lohr is considered to be one of California’s Central Coast winemaking pioneers; in the early ’70s, he chose Monterey County’s Arroyo Seco district for its cool, windy climate and rocky soils- ideal for Chardonnay. In the ’80s, he realized the potential for growing Bordeaux varietals in Paso Robles, given the area’s rich spoil and diurnal temperature swings. With 1,400 acres in Arroyo Seco and Santa Lucia Highlands, 2,700 acres in Paso Robles, and 30 acres in Napa Valley (Carol’s Vineyard, specifically), J. Lohr was established some five decades ago and still remains family owned today. Producing a diverse palette of sustainably-farmed fruit, the winery intends to craft wines showcasing bold, concentrated flavours with a vibrant sense of place.

Long Meadow Ranch Anderson Pinot Noir
In the late 1800’s, the majestic Long Meadow Ranch property thrived with vineyards, apple orchards, olive groves, hay and a goat milk dairy until farming fell dormant during Prohibition. Over the following years, the property became swallowed by the encroaching forest until the Halls bought the property in 1989. The Hall family carefully breathed life back into the land, nurturing it back to its glory, and then some, by cutting back the abandoned olive trees and replanting the vineyards and apple orchards as you see them growing today.
There are over 150 acres of Long Meadow Ranch vineyards planted in Napa and Anderson Valley that are farmed organically. The Hall family and Long Meadow Ranch artisans work together on the various properties that make up Long Meadow Ranch focusing on agriculture, wine, food and service.
