Amaro Meletti

Meletti, a name that resonates with quality, history, and artisanal craftsmanship, is the embodiment of Italian tradition in the world of spirits. With over 150 years of dedication to the art of distillation, Meletti is one of the oldest and most respected distilleries in the world, a testament to the enduring passion and expertise that have defined the brand for generations.

The story of Meletti begins in 1870 with Silvio Meletti, whose passion for crafting liqueurs was inspired by his parents, both distillers. From humble roots in the Le Marche region of Italy, Silvio set out to create exceptional spirits, and today, the Meletti brand continues to be a symbol of elegance, tradition and quality. What sets Meletti apart is not just its recipes, passed down through five generations, but its enduring identity as a family-run business.

Ron Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva

Situated in a town called La Miel near the Andes in Venezuela, Distilerias Unidas produces a variety of distillates but is certainly best-known internationally for their phenomenal rum. Ron Diplomatico Exclusiva has become something of a standard-bearer for modern Venezuelan rum as it is one of the most awarded rums in the world and frequently tops both tasting panels and consumer reviews. Diplomatico is made entirely from molasses and sugar cane honey from local sugar processing plants and has a much higher concentration of sugar than most rum producers have available to them. The result is an exceptionally rich and sweet rum that never fails to turn heads.

Lindemans - Cuvée René Oude Kriek

Southwest of Brussels, in the quiet Belgian town of Vlezenbeek, the Lindemans family has been farming and homebrewing as long as anyone can remember. Commercial brewing started in 1822.

Lambic, or spontaneously fermented beers, are the beers of this region and are among the world’s rarest: they are the only beers fermented via wild, airborne yeast – no yeast is added by the brewers. Lambics come only from the Senne River valley, near Brussels – a region about 15 by 75 miles in size. The unusual, demanding, and unique flavors that come from multiple yeast strains are unmatched in the world of beer.

Livon Sauvignon Blanc

The history of Livon wines dates back 1964 when Dorino Livon bought his first vineyards on the hills of Collio, in Italy’s North eastern region of Friuli bordering Slovenia. He built a winery perfectly equipped with the most technologically advanced systems in order to produce high quality and fresh white and red wines. The Collio region is re-known for producing some of Italy’s most enduring white wines. Livon has a diverse portfolio of wines and has earned a reputation for crafting brilliant white wines in Collio, though their holdings have expanded to other areas in Italy. Livon produces both approachable everyday drinking white wines as well as limited production wines from designated Cru and Gran Cru sites.

Luxardo Aperitivo

Luxardo is a family-owned company founded in Zara, a port city on the Dalmatian coast of what is now Croatia. Girolamo Luxardo, a Genovese businessman, and his wife, Maria Canevari, moved to Zara in 1817. It was Maria who began perfecting “rosolio maraschino,” a liqueur produced in Dalmatian convents since medieval times from special maraschino cherries. In 1913, Michelangelo Luxardo built the most modern and massive distillery in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but it was destroyed in World War II by Anglo-American bombings. Only one member of the fourth generation, Giorgio Luxardo, survived the World War II invasion and fled to Italy. Escaping with only a cherry sapling, Giorgio crossed the Adriatic Sea to the Veneto region of northeast Italy and reconnected with a colleague who had saved the Luxardo recipe book. Armed with the surviving tools and a desire to reestablish his family’s legacy, Giorgio chose the small Veneto city of Torreglia to rebuild the distillery in 1946. At this new home, Luxardo restored its extensive product line of Italian liqueurs and continued to export the products to markets around the world. Luxardo continues to produce Maraschino to Maria Canevari’s original recipe, as it was written down in 1821. Today, Luxardo is operated by Franco Luxardo of the family’s fifth generation, along with members of the sixth.

Marco Barba Barbarossa

Marco “Barba”, grew up in Madonna di Lonigo, near Vicenza.  He is the heart (and the face, if you check the label closely) of the Marcobarba project.  Marco took an interest in organic and biodynamic farming from an early age.   “Marcobarba” started as a social project carried on by Marco and friends he met working with another Venetian natural winemaker, Stefano Menti.  Today the “Barbaboyz” take care of small plots of abandoned vineyards owned by some elderly widows, between the white sedimentary terrains of the Berici Hills and the dark and volcanic soils of Gambellara.  From the grapes they grow with biodynamic practices, Marco produces about 40,000 bottles a year: a fizzy white wine, a still white and a red wine.  Marco and the Barbaboyz’ winemaking and bottling is done in the Menti Giovanni Winery.

Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino

Historically the land of Montalcino was poorly populated and hardly cultivated; it was a land of sheep farmers.  It was here in 1975 that lawyer, Gabriele Mastrojanni bought the San Pio and Loreto estates and decided to plant his first vineyards, of which part are still producing Mastrojanni wines today.  In the early years, only a few entered the wine-making adventure in Montalcino.  Today, thanks to an exceptional terroir and the pioneers who believed in its winemaking potential for decades, Mastrojanni finds itself amongst the most respected Montalcino producers.  It is here that the singular Sangiovese Grosso grape is at its best.  Today Andrea Machetti is the head of the estate and works alongside winemaker Maurizio Castelli.  They oversee all production processes and take a minimal interventionist approach in their winemaking; striving to showcase the Montalcino terroir as it is best expressed through the Sangiovese Grosso grape.

San Leonardo Vette Sauvignon Blanc

More than 1000 years ago, the San Leonardo Estate was a monastery, but for over three centuries now San Leonardo has served as the residence of the Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga family, its proud custodians. Today, the San Leonardo estate is a garden of vineyards and roses, protected by the massive barrier of the Alps, which blunt the force of the cold northern winds while the valley floor benefits from, and in turn releases, warmth from nearby Lake Garda. The tenuta remains an antique world, in which winemaking practices, still uncompromisingly artisanal, yield wines that are true gems of Italy’s wine tradition, marked by freshness, harmony, and an innate elegance.   San Leonardo is among the elite of the Trentino vineyards and specializes in Bordeaux varietals.

Vette is named for the imposing peaks that rise above its Sauvignon Blanc vineyard.

Vina Santurnia Reserva

Bodegas Ramon de Ayala is the producer of Vina Saturnia located in the town of Brinas, in Rioja Alta. The estate dates back to the 1950’s and has been family operated for 5 generations. The winery has 30 hectares of vineyards in Rioja Alta and Alavesa with some vines dating back to 1920s and most of the vineyards being 30 to 40 years old. The autumn and winter experiences cold temperatures with snow and some rain, while the summers are hot and nights cool off which is beneficial for producing quality wines with ripe enough fruit and fresh acidity. The soils are calcareous-clay with gravel. In 1985 the winery was renovated and updated and boasts an impressive underground cellar. They practice organic viticulture and only spray sulfur when needed.
