One of three local wines to be awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia wines. This wine was made from grapes harvested for icewine production. After pressing out the icewine juice a small amount of concentrated select late harvest juice is released as the grapes start to thaw. The result is a wine with all the flavour and aroma of icewine but with slightly lower residual sugar and acid.Look for notes of peach, apricot, and tropical fruit with a hint of marzipan on the nose. The palate reveals ripe tropical fruit with quince, peach, and a balancing finish with a touch of minerality. The perfect balance between
intense sweetness and refreshing acidity.
