Tequila
Production of Tequila is delimited by the Mexican government. To be called Tequila, the spirit must be made from blue agave that has been grown and processed in one of the five authorized states. By law, 51% of the fermentable sugars in a Tequila must come from the blue agave while the remainder can come from any other sugar source. Tequila made entirely from blue agave can be called Tequila 100% agave.
