Los Cardos is a Spanish word for “the thistles,” flowers known in Argentina for their intense and surprisingly vivid color as well their sharp thorns. In Mendoza their presence is an unmistakable signal of good terroir. The grapes are sourced from sustainably managed vineyards growing in a challenging climate with a breathtaking landscape located at more than 3,300 ft. above sea level where they enjoy the constant breeze from the Andes Mountains. De Bortoli DB Family Selection Shiraz

De Bortoli is a well established Australian winemaking brand that is beloved locally and internationally.  The family immigrated from Treviso, Italy after the first world war to Griffith, New South Wales, Australia.  Vittorio and his finacé Giuseppina started out as fruit farmers.  Winemaking came about organically when one season there was a surplus of Shiraz grapes so he decided to crush and  make wine out of them rather than let them rot.  The local Italians and other European expats offered to buy wine off him and eventually De Bortoli wines were born.  The later generations continued to innovate and expand the family’s vitivulture and winemaking legacy throughout Australia.  Today De Bortoli Wines owns four wineries in four different Australian regions and is still family operated.

La Delizia Pinot Grigio

La Delizia was established in 1931 as a Cantina Sociale Cooperativa. Today, Viticoltori Friulani La Delizia is the largest wine-making facility of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.  They have 450 members, 2000 hectares of vines and produce on average 23 million bottles of wine per year. The production area includes a wide surface on the plain of the Friuli Region. In this land, well-known for its profound winemaking expertise, the nature of the soil and the particularly mild climate have contributed to create the best conditions for the vine growth.

Pask Gimblett Gravels Sauvignon Blanc

In 1981, Pask planted the first vines in an ancient Ngaruroro riverbed, founding Hawke’s Bay’s renowned Gimblett Gravels wine district.  Founder Chris Pask – flying in the cockpit of his topdressing plane – first saw the potential for growing exceptional grapes in the light, stony soils of the ancient Ngaruroro riverbed.  Sheltered from Pacific breezes and several degrees warmer than any other New Zealand wine-growing area, it was in this sun-drenched valley that Chris planted Pask’s first vines.   Today, the Pask winemaking team remain as passionate as ever about creating wines to be shared and enjoyed.
