Barrelling Tide Distillery is located in Port William’s in Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley. The believe good things take time; and quality will forever come before quantity. All of their spirits and liqueurs are hand crafted in small batches on-site. Port Williams and surrounding areas in the Annapolis Valley boast some of the most beautiful scenery in the Maritimes. Known for being the agricultural heartland, the area is famous for its fruit crops.
Tasting Notes
This versatile liqueur brings the taste of blueberry pie to anything you add it to! Our favourite ways to pair it is with vanilla ice cream, mixed with lemonade, paired with a white wine for a lovely spritzer or added to your favourite sangria recipe! Enjoy this in a Blueberry Rum Fizz; muddle sugar and blueberries together in a cocktail shaker to make blueberry syrup. To your cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of rum, 1 oz Blueberry Liqueur, ice and 1 oz lemon juice. Shake well. In an ice filled tall glass, add your cocktail and top with club soda. Garnish with blueberries.
Method
This is a hand crafted liqueur made with locally sourced ingredients. It does not contain any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. In order to maintain the optimum quality of the liqueur, it is best used within the first 4-6 months after opening.
