Kavalan LÁN Single Malt Whisky (700ml)

Few distilleries have gained as much prestige and momentum in such a short period of time like Kavalan has. Kavalan takes its name from Yilan Countys old name, the area at which it is located in north-eastern Taiwan. Founded in 2005 by Mr. Tien-Tsai Lee, the entrepreneur knew that in order to compete with the global whisky heavyweights, they had to create a spirit of exceptional quality. Calling in no other than renowned Dr. Jim Swan (the Einstein of whisky) they set into motion a plan for production, as well as future maturation to ensure Kavalan’s longevity.

A tribute to Yilan County, its name also represents the Chinese symbol for “Orchid”celebrating the nations status as the “Kingdom of Orchids”
