Mac-Talla single malt Scotch whisky is crafted at an undisclosed distillery on the famous isle of Islay. Released by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, this prominent whisky family has been creating single malt whiskies for generations. Meaning “Echo” in Scottish Gaelic, Mac-Talla Scotch was made to take you on a journey across the beautiful island and express the connection the Morrison family has with it.

I like Islay whiskys. Talisker was my favourite until I encoutered Raasay “While We Wait”. Mac-Talla Mara is definitely a contender.
Heavy peat and smokiness. And even at cask strength, it’s a smooth dram without harshness.
If you like Islay whiskies, this is one to try.
