Alberta Springs 10 year old is made by Alberta Distillers in Calgary. Alberta Distillers was founded in 1946 with a simple goal in mind: to make enjoyable whiskey at a price anyone could afford.
Tasting Notes
White pepper, toffee, citrus peel and apple skins dominate the palate in this fresh and spicy whiskey with plenty of spirit. Enjoy it on the rocks or with a splash of mixer.
Method
Alberta Springs 10 year relies on a high proportion of rye grain in their mash to give it character and is aged for 10 years in ex bourbon barrels to add depth and elegance.

Hi Ed,
We’re glad you continue to enjoy Alberta Springs! Its proving difficult to find a definitive date as to when this Whisky hit the market but it looks like the distillery was founded in 1946 and this particular distillate was released in 1975.
Cheers!
