The Tatamagouche Brewing Company (commonly referred to as “Tata”) is a family owned and operated craft brewery located in the heart of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. In 2014, the family converted an old butcher shop into a brewery, and have since added several additions to the sides and back of the building to help accommodate their growth. Tata Brew is one of only a handful of Certified Organic breweries in Nova Scotia, and their beers have won awards provincially as well as nationally.

Aged on a generous amount of real guava for rush of citrusy and tropical fruit flavours. Tart, tangy, and refreshingly light – a perfect addition to beach hangs and cooling down on a warm summer day!
Method
Most often, sourness in beer is considered a fault, unless its the case of Berliner Weiss and Kettle soured beers. Bacteria is added intentionally to produce different forms of acid that contribute to pleasant tart flavours and mouthfeel. These beers can be blended with various fruits as well, a common practice.
In the case of Guava Heist, fresh organic guava puree was added into the finished beer for an invigorating, and very Summery flavour!
