Tasting Notes
The nose is complex, with an explosion of aromas of white flowers, candied fruits and white pepper. The palate is medium weight, fresh with great texture and fine tannins. The wine has nice length and a pleasing bitter note on the finish making this a great wine for enjoying with food. Perfect with aperitifs, cheese platters but also with Indian and Asian cuisine. Serve between 12°C-14°C.
Method
Genora pays tribute to the first orange wines created 4500 years ago in Georgia. The wine is made using an ancient and traditional winemaking technique. First, the white grapes are vinified and then fermented in whole bunches, like the red wines. This particular fermentation, together with the fermentation of the stalks and skins, brings its singular color, remarkable golden reflections and pleasing tannic structure you don’t find in white wines or rosés. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Muscat and Roussanne.
