Salvatore Lovo along with his wife Rita Ferasin and their daughter Silvia operate the family winery Terregaie in Vo’ at the western end of the Euganian Hills; a region steeped in winemaking tradition.
This modern and dynamic winery produces about 100,000 bottles of high quality estate grown Prosecco from the picturesque & highly favored hillsides of the Padova province. Centrally located in the heart of Veneto’s wine production area, the Terre Gaie Winery and Lovo family has been cultivating these lands for generations.
Tasting Notes
Made from 100% estate grown Glera grapes, from the best hillside area of the Veneto Prosecco zone. This lively Prosecco has green apple cider & creamy nougat aromas that follow through to a medium bodied bubbly with notes of marzipan, baking spice finishing with dry, zesty citrus on the finish.
Method
Prosecco is Italy’s more famous and widely produced sparkling wine and is produced using the Charmat method (also called Metodo Martinotti in Italian). It is made from Glera grapes that undergo a primary, alcoholic fermentation, in stainless tanks and a secondary fermentation in a pressurized tank. The CO2 released during the second fermentation is trapped in the wine as bubbles and the wine is then filtered to remove the yeast and bottled. This Brut Prosecco has 12 g/l RS and is made sustainably, from organic grapes.
