Tasting Notes
AIX is a well-balanced premium Provence rosé with a typical hypnotising salmon pink colour. The nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful with sophisticated notes of fresh red fruits, peach and subtle flower hints. It offers roundness on the palate and a beautiful aromatic depth, before finding freshness and some minerality in its long and precise finish.
Method
A classic Provencal blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. About 30% of the wine is bled and 70% direct press. The producer’s of AIX strive for a consistent rose style year after year, with little vintage variation, similar to well known Champagne houses. AIX strikes a balance between being that quintessential summer sipper with fresh red fruit and crispness and being more complex and serious.
