La Baronne Juste Le Rouge (750ml)

The Ligneres family is bringing much needed attention to the Languedoc of southern France. The story is an unexpected one. Both the husband and wife have a background in medicine, and like many other traditional winemakers have wine running through their veins. Andre is a general practitioner and Suzette is a pharmacist. Together with their children, they manage La Baronne estate. The family is very much hands-on—they utilize dry-farming, hand harvesting, and have been certified organic and biodynamic.  Domaine La Baronne is located in the south of France, in Occitanie.  The Montagne d’Alaric is an imposing feature of this area and the vineyards are planted on its foothills.
