A West Coast-inspired IPA, Hollywood has a biscuit malt backbone that is derived from its Pale Ale malt sourced from PEI’s Shoreline Malting. With moderate bitterness, intense hop character and notes of melon and pine, Hollywood is a very approachable West Coast style IPA.

Method
Brewed in the classic West Coast style of IPA – known for the use of American hops that give piney, resinous, dank aromas and flavours combined with high levels of bittering alpha acids. Hollywood is brewed with Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe, and Eukanot hops, to 60 IBU. To balance out the bitterness, this style usually sees small amounts of specialty malts that provide some caramel-like sweetness. A style that can often be too bitter to the point of astringent, Lone Oak nailed it with this one.
