Tasting Notes
Apple, lemon, peach with underlying floral aromatics and minerality. This aromatic and expressive style has become the signature and much beloved style of Gaspereau’s Tidal Bay. The palate is bright, but well rounded; the acidity being balanced by a hint of sweetness. Notes of peach and white blossoms and minerality persist onto the finish. Enjoy this with shellfish and lightly spicy dishes.
Method
There is a tad less Muscat in the 2022 compared to the last vintage (10% this year vs 12% last year) and, for the first time in the history of Gaspereau Tidal Bay, there is L’Acadie Blanc in the blend! The 2022 is made up of 45% Vidal Blanc, 29% Seyval Blanc, 11% L’Acadie Blanc, 10% New York Muscat, 3% Chardonnay, 2% Riesling. 13 g/L RS.
