Wines of the World
Jan 1, 1970 12:00am - Dec 16, 2011 12:00am
As wine grows in popularity across the globe, several areas with climates suitable for growing grapes are now planting vines and starting to produce exceptional wine. Regions like British Columbia and Washington are relative newcomers to the global stage, despite producing wine for 30-50 years, yet are gaining critical acclaim and garnering attention from consumers abroad. Older wine producing regions, like Spain and South Africa, have adopted modern wine making techniques that cater to contemporary tastes, and have experienced a resurgence with consumers.
This Friday we will explore wines from around the world. Best of all, these wines will be poured FREE throughout the day. See below for the wines, and the times that they will be tasted.
