Rhone Blends from Around the World
Jan 1, 1970 12:00am - Apr 5, 2013 12:00am
The Rhone Valley is divided into two distinct regions. The North which is famous for its red blends of Syrah and the white grape Viognier. And the South region which produces blends of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault.
Throughout the world winemakers have been trying to mimic their styles of the Rhone Valley. From Australia, South Africa, Spain and California these ‘Rhone Rangers’ are producing wines sometimes at a fraction of the cost. Come taste our selection of Rhone styles from around the world and decide for yourself.
Like always, tonight’s wines will be accompanied by some delicious food. Tickets are $20.00 and available in advance through our new service Eventbrite. Click here to purchase your ticket.
