The Lenotti family has been producing wines in the Veneto since 1906 in Bardolino, the area around Verona and Lake Garda. Since 1968, the farm has been bottling and selling the wines directly with the main goal of supplying clients with high quality products at competitive prices. At present the estate is run by the Giancarlo Lenotti (oenologist , production manager and facilities supervisor), Marina Lenotti (sales manager for the home market), and their son Claudio (export manager). They export 90% of their production.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow in the glass with a light and delicate aromas; spring flowers, citrus and apple. The palate is light bodied with citrus and tree fruit notes and a crisp clean finish. An easy drinking white wine with lots of versatility at the table; enjoy as an aperitif, with grilled fish, seafood pastas or a creamy bowl of risotto.
Method
Made from Chardonnay grapes grown on glacial and alluvial soils. The grapes are crushed and there is a brief maceration period with the juice and solids before pressing and temperature controlled fermentation at 15-16°C. The wine rests in stainless tanks before bottling.
