We are thrilled to host Matt Lane, VP Americas, in the Ryan Duffy’s Steak & Seafood intimate, elegant space at 1650 Bedford Row, Halifax. A native Australian and veteran of the wine industry, Matt was named South Australian Sommelier of the Year in 2001, and also won the exclusive international Vin de Champagne award for South Australia two times.Chef Allan McPherson, Executive Head Chef of Ryan Duffy’s has created a stunning tasting menu, perfectly pairing an appetizer to each of the six wines.

1st Plate: Salmon Tartare. Paired with Peter Lehmann Weighbridge Chardonnay
2nd Plate: Seared Digby scallop with house-made bacon jam. Paired with Peter Lehmann Semillon.
3rd Plate: Braised pork belly with white bean puree, on pumpernickel. Paired with Peter Lehmann Clancy’s.
4th Plate: Warm, sliced duck breast with spiced plum. Paired with Peter Lehmann Portrait Shiraz.
5th Plate: Alberta AAA beef tenderloin with long pepper blueberry chutney. Paired with Peter Lehmann Mentor Cabernet.
6th Plate: Pistachio-crusted, lamb lollipop. Paired with: Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz.
