Spectacularly Steep- Wines from Hillsides Around the World

It’s no secret that the grape vine is the source of all wine. Furthermore, where and how those vines grow greatly influence the character and quality of that wine. Elements like climate, soil, sun, pests and slope all play a role in the final wine. All over the world, hillsides and slopes are preferred for grape growing due to the a greater intensity of the sun’s rays, plus better drainage and air circulation.
Join us as we taste wines produced in some of the most dramatic and spectacularly steep growing areas from around the globe. We’ll explore the characteristics of these wines, while we appreciate the tremendous efforts that go into managing these special vineyard sites and producing quality, sought-after wines.
Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased on Eventbrite below. As always, the tasting starts at 5:00 PM and will finish at 7:00 PM. The event will be accompanied by delicious snacks.
