This year, our friends at Devour! The Food Film Festival will be celebrating women in gastronomy! We are proud to be a partner again in this amazing celebration of food, wine and Nova Scotia. This week’s tasting we’ll highlight some of the talented women making wine and tending vines, here at home and around the world.
From the “Champagne widows” to Burgundy’s own Lalou Bize-Leroy, Italy’s Le Donne del Vino to Canada’s Women of Wine and more; countless women have influenced the wine industry’s past and present. Now, more and more women are graduating from wine making programs globally.
Join us as we taste through remarkable wines from our shelves, made by women and enjoyed by all! As always, we’ll provide delicious snacks from a local caterer to go with the wines.
