Albert Sounit Rully Saint-Jacques (750ml)

Maison Albert Sounis is located in the Chalonnaise in the southern part of Burgundy.  They have 16 hectares of their own vines in the appellations of Rully and Montagny and then purchase grapes from other growers in the Chalonnaise.  They are unique in the area as half of their production in crémant and the other half is split between white and red wines; they pride themselves in the high quality of all their wines.  The estate has been Danish owned since 1993 and works closely with a team French people on the production and management side of the company.  They are working towards official organic certification in their farming methods, but currently in practice, they do not use pesticides and herbicides and strive to increase soil health through natural methods.
