Purchased by Renzo Cesari in 1928, the estate’s passion for viticulture has been passed down to his grandson Stefano, who worked closely with renowned Amarone innovator and University of Verona oenology professor Roberto Ferrarini. As former President of the Valpolicella Growers Association, Stefano championed low yields, improved vineyard practices, and modern winemaking, focusing on traditional Valpolicella Classico grapes with an emphasis on high-quality Corvina from 47 hectares of estate vines in the heart of San Floriano.

Just outside the village of Pont de l’Isère, Graillot’s Crozes-Hermitage vineyards sit on the stony plains between the Isère and Rhône. The late Alain Graillot, a pioneering Northern Rhône vigneron devoted to organic, terroir-driven wines, built the estate’s reputation; today his sons Maxime and Antoine carry that legacy forward.
