Bottega has a rich history in the world of wine and grappa, spanning back 4 centuries to the 1600’s. Bottega wines and liqueurs have received over 350 awards and recognitions and are present in more than 150 countries around the world.
Tasting Notes
Rich and delicious, this grappa liqueur boasts mocha, roasted nut, and deep chocolate flavours. Ideal as a treat after a meal or added to anything from ice cream to coffee to add a little extra deliciousness.
Method
This is a creamy liqueur, pleasantly sweet and with a moderate alcohol content, characterized by an intense aroma of Gianduia chocolate. This was created in Piedmont, in 1806, when the high cost of cocoa inspired local pastry chefs to replace part of it with toasted grounded nuts. This gave way to an elegant and intense chocolate, with a typical bouquet of cocoa and nuts. These hints are also present in Gianduia Bottega, a cream with a velvety sweetness which satisfies even the most demanding palates.
