One of Nova Scotia’s first craft brewery’s, celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2022 – Garrison Brewing Company located on the Halifax waterfront, follows the rich brewing tradition in Nova Scotia by producing a wide array of flavourful beers for the local market, and nationally. Garrison brews a variety of full flavored, all natural, preservative free ales. Each glass represents a tribute to the art of hand-crafting ales with the finest natural ingredients.
Tasting Notes
This refreshing ale pours a clear golden-amber with light malt-driven aromas of freshly baked bread, cream crackers, light honey and is balanced by subtle citrus, and herbal hop character. The beer drinks with rich malt flavours that are balanced by an appropriate amount of bitterness, and the palate finishes dry with a smooth mouthfeel.
Method
Garrisons OG – One of the most well known Nova Scotian craft beers. Inspired from the ales of England, Tall ship is very smooth and malt driven. Carastan and Pale malts are used to provide rich golden malt flavours, while Willamette hops lend grassy, woody, and spicy aromas and flavours.
