La Baronne Les Chemins (750ml)
The Lignères family cultivates organic and biodynamic wines around the Alaric Mountain in a priviledged corner of Languedoc – Roussillon. La Baronne grows a selection of typical grapes from this region, but the family has a special affection for Carignan and are constantly striving to heighten the expression, finesse and elegance of this emblematic regional variety. The domaine is proud to cultivate one of the oldest Carignan vines of the Languedoc dating back to 1892.
La Baronene Les Chemins de Traverse is a blend of organic / biodynamic Carignan, Grenache and Syrah grown on soils of clay limestone gravels and blue marl. Four weeks maceration on the skins then sees wild yeasts fermentations in concrete and stainless steel. Elevage in barrels (Syrah) and stainless steel (Carignan, Grenache) for 12 months. This wine is vegan, is bottled unfiltered, unfined with minimal sulfites. C’est tres naturel!
