Principato, meaning Princely Realm or principality, refers to northeastern Italy’s regal past.  Principato is one of Italy’s most popular and affordable wines.  The brand was introduced in 1978 and has become a beloved value wine offering locally and abroad.  

Tasting Notes

Pale straw in color, with appealing fruit aromas mingled with delicate floral notes. Crisp, light and elegant, with alluring fruit flavors.  A crowd pleasing and versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or served with aperitifs, seafood dishes, chicken, salads.  

Method

Made from Pinot Grigio grapes from the Delle Venezie appellation, which is a broad north eastern Italian appellation that covers wines made in the Tre Venezie (a comprised region of Trentino, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia-Giulia).  This area is known for its crisp and clean white wines.  This Pinot Grigio is fermented in stainless steel and is made for early consumption.
