Tavernello is made by the the Caviro Group, an Agricultural Cooperative founded in Faenza, Emilia Romagna in 1966. They created Tavernello to satisfy the Italian’s demand for a easy drinking everyday table wine; a wine that had a place at the dinner table anytime and could be served to anyone. Tavernello is a household name in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Delicate aromas of apple and ripe pear. The palate is light and with juicy fruit flavours and balanced acidity giving a soft texture. Serve well chilled and enjoy on its own as an aperitif or with cold meats, seafood, light salads and creamy pasta dishes.
Method
Made with Pinot Grigio grapes from vineyards in Veneto. The juice is fermented in stainless steel for a fresh, fruit forward style. This northern Italian region is known for its production of this classic grape.
