Tavernello is made by the the Caviro Group, an Agricultural Cooperative founded in Faenza, Emilia Romagna in 1966. They created Tavernello to satisfy the Italian’s demand for a easy drinking everyday table wine; a wine that had a place at the dinner table anytime and could be served to anyone. Tavernello is a household name in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Medium intensity aromas of red and black berry fruit with light herbal and leafy notes. The palate is medium bodied with flavours of fresh fruit and savory herbs, medium acidity and mild tannins. A wine made to complement a wide range of flavours, including tomato-based pasta, pizza, cold cuts and cheeses.

Made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Rubicone IGT.
